Jr. Jr. defends a rave at CDC, swears “new blood” at agency

Health and Public Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Defending the Trump administration’s rave craze at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is expected to take over the agency soon.

“The United States has 4.2% of the world’s population, but we have nearly 20% of Kuved’s deaths,” Kennedy said Thursday before the Senate Finance Committee. “We’re doing worse than any country in the world,” he said.

“CDC leaders are responsible for that process, they put masks on people, they close our schools, they’re the people who are leaving,” Kennedy said.

“That’s why we need new leaders who are bold, competent and creative at the CDC,” he continued. “People are able and willing to draw new lessons for new lessons. As my dad once said, progress is a good word, and it’s a motivation. Change has enemies. That’s why we need new blood on the CDC.”
