Kennedy faces issues regarding Senate vaccines and CDC leadership

He wrote that measures have been taken to “eliminate conflicts of interest and bureaucratic complacency in the agency” and have replaced leaders who “resist the reform”.

“Most of the employees in the CDC rankings are honest civil servants,” Kennedy said. “Under this new mission, they can do the job of scientists without succumbing to politics. The agency will once again become the world authority in infectious disease policy.”

“First, the CDC must restore public trust – the recovery has begun,” he continued. “It will not stop until public health agencies in the United States serve people with transparency, honesty and integrity again.”
