Canada’s Qanon “Queen” arrested at Saskatchewan compound

Qanon-inspired conspirator Romana Didulo has been arrested by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) after the gun report.

Ms. Dulow was arrested along with 16 others after law enforcement executed a search warrant at a retired school, officials said.

Ms Didulo calls herself the “Queen of Canada” and leads a group called the Kingdom of Canada to live in the village of Richmound, Saskatchewan for the past two years.

She posted a live broadcast on Wednesday’s telegram page that appeared to be her arrest. The video shows at least three armed personnel entering the room, with one sentence: “Put down the phone. You are arrested.”

Authorities received a search warrant for the property last month, which said someone on the property owned a firearm, which was under federal supervision in Canada.

Canadian authorities said they arrested Ms. Didulo, 48, who “expected” to have connections with her “King of Canada” group.

RCMP said 17 people were detained as of Wednesday afternoon. No charges have been filed, but the police have 24 hours to do so.

Ms Didulo said in her live footage that she did not resist the arrest and asked the officer if she could take the time to turn off her phone.

RCMP inspector Ashley St Germaine confirmed that there were no resistance during the arrest and no gunshot exchange.

Ms. Dulow immigrated from the Philippines to Canada as a teenager. She set up several businesses before forming a marginal party in 2020.

After Qanon’s leadership endorsed, she built a group of followers, announcing that she had overthrew the legal government in Canada and said her claims about the title of “Queen of Canada” were supported by secret, powerful U.S. military interests.

On her most popular telegraph channel, she issued a “decree” to allow her to release more than 36,000 followers from her bills and debts.
