A competitive cheerleader at the University of Kentucky was arrested after finding a dead baby in a closet in her home.

On Wednesday, August 27, officers were dispatched to the house and responded to calls about the unresponsive baby.
According to the arrest citation obtained by the same outlet, “the baby is wrapped in a towel in a black garbage bag.”
Snelling was interviewed by officials on the scene and “admitted to give birth.”
According to the citation, Snelling also “accepted that by cleaning any evidence, all cleaning items were placed in black garbage bags, including babies wrapped in towels.”
Snelling released a $100,000 margin on Tuesday, September 2 and now lives in “home imprisonment without ankle monitors.”
A court filing obtained by Lex 18 News says she lives with her parents in Jefferson, Tennessee, about 200 miles from her arrest in Kentucky.
