Christine Brown reveals why she stops trusting Robyn Brown

Christine, 53, wrote in her newly published memoir Sisters’ Wife: Memoirs of Faith, Family and Finding Freedomwhen her daughter Aspyn called to tell her she was really sick, she was “outing” to buy clothes for the promise ceremony.

She called her then-husband Kody, now 56, but he didn’t really help.

“The girls are there. They can take care of it,” Christine said in a book released Tuesday, September 2.

“‘If it’s true death, I’ll leave Cody,’ I said [to Robyn],” Kristen wrote. ‘Because she doesn’t matter to him. Because he is more focused on washing clothes at your house than helping our daughters.”

She added: “Cody is not there, he is not with me, and he is not dealing with the horrible situation for his oldest daughter.”

Robyn, 46, told Kody what she said, according to Christine. He was discussing the situation with Robyn at Christine, “and not apologizing when we need him.”

Christine wrote that this was the “last time” she involved any situation with Robyn.

She added: “I feel she betrayed my trust by telling Cody what she is confident to say.”

Christine also has insight into the relationship between Kody and Robyn in her book. (Kody started courting Robyn when Christine was actually pregnant.)
