City Council Rhode IslandThe capital supports the distribution of “Know Your Rights” emails to residents, guiding them on how to handle enforcement in the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement.
If the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) faces the Agents (ICE), families in Providence will receive English and Spanish cards and provide them with constitutional rights.
It instructs residents not to open the door Unless the officer Submit a valid arrest warrant signed by the judge. A press release announcing the campaign said the lower part of the card could be cut, placed in a wallet, and presented to immigration enforcement.

“The Providence City Council is working with organizations representing our diverse communities in the face of fear and uncertainty that permeates our city’s immigrant communities due to the Trump administration’s reckless abuse,” Council President Rachel Miller said in a statement.
“Immigration has been and continues to be crucial to Providence for nearly 400 years,” she added. “The council jointly expressed that it welcomes immigration here and encourages every member of our community to educate about constitutional rights and find places to help where needed.”

The committee works with more than a dozen local immigration rights and advocacy groups in the mail. A committee spokesman told Fox News numbers that the city has spent $17,000 on the email.
Fox News figures have been touched by Rhode Island Republican Party Comment.
The emails are in response to illegal immigration operations that illegally reside in the United States.
