Sean’Diddy’Combs prosecution in trial presents an ending argument

Sean Diddy’s prosecution at Combs’ trial filed a final case Thursday, believing that music tycoons use commercial “kingdom”, violence, drugs and fraud have put women in unwanted sexual behavior

“You know a lot about Sean Combs,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Christy Slavik told 12 New Yorkers Thursday. “He is the leader of a criminal enterprise. He did not refuse for the answer.”

Combs pleaded not guilty to allegations of sexual trafficking, extortion and transportation.

Over four hours, Ms. Slavik reviewed the evidence for seven weeks, accusing the comb of manipulating women for fulfilling their sexual fantasies with the help of employees.

The rapper, wearing a cream sweater, looked back and leaned back against a chair at the defense table while his twin daughters and 85-year-old mother sat in the back.

For allegations of extortion – Mr. Combs relies on a network of loyal staff to promote and cover up allegations of sexual trafficking and other crimes – Ms. Slavik reminded jurors that they need to find the combs that committed two crimes through their “crime business.”

She claimed he committed “hundreds” with the help of his employees.

Among these crimes, she included drug trafficking—his employees allegedly bought drugs for him and others—and arson Musician Kid Cudi’s car.

Ms Slavik said, but the “cruel crime at the heart of the case” was sexual trafficking, citing painful testimony from two of Combs’ ex-girlfriends, Casandra Ventura and “Jane”.

Ms Slavik told the court: “That’s what happened when Cassie said no.”

Mitchell Epner, a New York lawyer and former prosecutor, said the video was particularly effective in helping prosecutors turn theoretical trafficking arguments into something more specific.

“The government has done a great job saying these special events on these specific days constitute sexual trafficking,” he said.

Ms. Slavik also described other ways in which the combs allegedly coerce women into committing unnecessary sexual behavior, including “give them” her with a large amount of drugs In Jane, If she fails to comply, she refuses to pay the rent.

She quoted Jane’s words and told the rapper she didn’t want to participate, and she was “worrying to lose the roof on my head”.

She told jurors that the prosecution was not intended to “criminalize a dysfunctional relationship” or to criticize “unconventional sex.” Combs’ lawyer believes he participated in the “Swimmer” lifestyle.

Ms. Slavik said: “Casey and Jane don’t want to have sex with the defendant watching him.”

Anna Cominsky, an associate professor at the New York Law School, said the government’s summary did what needed to be done.

“They have announced the evidence – the jury tried their case and told them the importance of each piece of evidence.”

Twelve jurors can start discussing the fate of the comb immediately Friday. His attorney will then make the ending argument, after which the judge will direct the juror to review.

Earlier this week Combs’ legal team took the case back about 20 minutes later, A text message was introduced to Jane, but no witnesses were called.

COMBS faces the highest penalty if the most serious allegations of sexual trafficking and extortion are committed.
