Legislators may soon Jeffrey Epstein The infamous “birthday book” may have the potential to have a deeper understanding of the social relationships of shameful late financiers.
Rep. Robert Garcia, D-Calif. As a ranking member of the House Oversight Committee Tell MSNBC On Friday, Epstein’s property “will actually actually bring us that book, and many other documents that have not been reported yet.” He added that lawmakers hope to receive the book and documents on September 8.
Garcia also told MSNBC that Epstein’s “many victims” will talk to lawmakers on Capitol Hill next week to “highlight their stories.” He did not name the legislator or accuser who was expected to meet.

The date of publication has been confirmed in the subpoena signed by the Chairman of the House Oversight Committee Rep. James Comerr-ky. The specific deadline listed in the subpoena is 12:00 pm on September 8
“The Committee on Oversight and Government Reform is reviewing the possible mismanagement of the federal government’s investigation of Mr. Jeffrey Epstein and Ms. Ghislaine Maxwell, the circumstances and subsequent investigations of Mr. Epstein’s death, the operation of sex-trafficking rings and ways for the federal government to effectively combat them, and potential violence of ethics rules related to elected officials,” Comer stated in a cover letter that accompanied the subpoena.

“Recent reports have shown that Mr. Epstein’s property has access to documents related to the Commission’s investigation, including the ‘birthday book’ prepared by Ms. Maxwell for Epstein…Parliament must be monitored, the enforcement of the federal government’s sexual trafficking laws, usually an investigation and prosecution of McStan and Mr. Maxwell.

House oversees Democrats on Monday issued a statement supporting the book’s subpoena and visits former lawyers for Southern Florida and Trump’s labor secretary Alex Acosta Testify before Congress. He is expected to conduct a closed-door transcription interview next month.
Through a federal investigation into the ongoing case, lawmakers sought testimony from several former senior officials, such as former Attorney General Bill Barr. Despite Barr’s testimony before lawmakers, Democrat, Rep. Suhas Subramanyam, D-Va. Jasmine Crockett of D-Texas was not satisfied with the Republican issue.

Deeming the allegations unfounded, he begged Democrats not to politicize the bipartisan investigation. After Comer said Barr didn’t understand, he didn’t think there was any impact on any role Donald Trump had to do with Epstein.
Garcia disagrees. Although he did not participate in the testimony, he said in a statement that Barr did not clear Trump.
