Minneapolis officials say shooting threats at Catholic school near church are “included” | Minneapolis

Police are responding to an active shooter incident in the south Minneapolis Wednesday near the church.

According to reports CBS.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz said he “branded the Catholic school shooting” Wednesday morning and “will continue to provide updates as we get more information.”

According to reports from FOX 9, the suspect was reportedly dead. Media also reported that the first call held at 8:27 a.m. ET was passed at 8:27 a.m. ET, and kindergarten to eighth grade students will start at 8:15 a.m. ET.

Kristi Noem, Secretary of Homeland Security explain On X, the Department of Homeland Security is monitoring the shooting.

“We are communicating with our inter-agency partners and once more information is available. I am praying for the victims of this outrageous attack,” Nome said.

Wednesday’s incident marked the fourth shooting in 24 hours in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Three people were shot dead in three separate shootings during Tuesday to Wednesday. At least eight people also suffered gunshot wounds in these incidents.
