He continued: “They don’t need to file unconfirmed charges on social media, but they want to be closed or closed in court.”

In response, Homeland Security Posted on its official X account: “Kilmar Abrego Garcia is not, nor is it a Maryland man – he is an illegal foreigner in criminal offences of El Salvador and public safety threats.”

“The Trump administration will never apologize for fulfilling our promise to expel criminally illegal foreigners,” Jackson said.

Chris Newman, the attorney for Abrego Garcia’s family, explicitly denied the DHS allegations and told Fox News Digital: “None of these things are true, go all out.”

“The problem here is that the government is working to litigate the case through the media, not through the court,” Newman said.

He said that “essentially” what the Trump administration did “is to use the highest positions on the land to blackmail innocent people to sacrifice their constitutional rights.”

“Even if the Trump administration insists on tainting public debate with lies, we have been fighting both and winning in court.”

In an email statement sent to Fox News Number, Ivey accused Trump of ignoring the law.

“When I prosecuted, the MS 13 case was prosecuted, the case was tried, the conviction was won, and it was sentenced to jail and not supported them until they were sentenced to jail,” Ivey said. “That way, we comply with the Constitution and the law. The Trump administration ignored both. They wanted to deport them without deportation on the days requested by the Supreme Court in court. They also wanted to imprison them indefinitely, even if they were not convicted.
