Minneapolis, Minn. – Democrats are eager to fight back against the president against sweeping and controversial moves Donald Trump Republicans, the party’s president, stressed that it’s time to “stand up and fight.”
During a fierce speech on Monday, Commission of Democratic States (DNC) Chairman Ken Martin argued that the president is acting as a “dictator” and that Trump’s second administration is “FACISM for the red tie.”
“We are the only way in the way that gets in his way,” Martin stressed, addressing more than 400 elected party officials from all 50 states and seven territories as the summer meeting began at a downtown hotel in his hometown of Minnesota.
“You are ready to bring our country back to our country from the White House’s Wish King,” he asked the audience, cheering loudly.

Martin noted that Democrats responded strongly to Trump and Republicans this summer, by reassigning more directly tilted U.S. seats in states across the country through the rare midterm congression ahead of next year’s midterm election, saying he was “tired of this Democrat and brought pencils to the knife.”
“We are no longer the only party to play by the rules,” he urged.
Democratic leaders and officials face many problems as they try to escape the political wilderness.
The party was trying to escape the political wilderness after last year’s election, when Democrats lost control of the White House and the Senate and won a bid to win a majority in the House. and Republicans make profits with voters who form a key part of the Democratic base.
DNC Chairman tells Fox News Party has hit “rock bottom”
But the situation for Democrats has only worsened since 10 months Last year’s election setback.
The Democratic brand is unpopular, especially with young voters, as the party’s poll numbers continue to drop to historic lows in national surveys.
The DNC faces a massive fundraising deficit in the hands of rival Republican National Committee (RNC), partly because major party donors cut their contributions when they express frustration with the National Committee.
New voter data first reported last week showed Democratic registration plummeted, while Republican states with voters registered in 30 states rose.
“No doubt…we have work to do,” Martin A sit-down interview with Fox News Digital this summer was recognized.
But seeing a silver lining, he added: “When you hit the bottom of a rock, there is only one direction to go, that’s it, that’s what we’re doing.”
During the conversation on Monday, Democrats remained divided on a range of policy and political issues, Martin stressed: “In our Big Tent Party, we unified a goal to stop Donald Trump and get the country back on track.”
Long-term Trump allies take over as chairman of the Republican National Committee
Senator Amy Klobuchar Minnesota’s goal is to talk about the party’s division.
Klobuchar rejected the label of “We Suck Club” and said: “When they tried to split us on every issue online, we didn’t get into it. Complaint to each other – it’s not the way we win again.”
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz The media coverage targeting the party’s split report said: “It makes me this damn idea, in the military taking over our cities and attempts to get into others, to show off the rule of law, calm and unconstitutional nature, the way they attack our neighbors, the media needs to talk about, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, the Democrats there.” ”
“I have a teacher in the damn house and we’re still married and things are good,” Walz said. “That’s life. That’s life. We’re strong. We’re strong because we challenge each other.”

Walz, who served as then-Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign companion on the Democratic state vote last summer and fall, lashed out Trump as a “little hell.”
He said Americans wake up every morning, “any problem with a man’s child crying.”
Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison told listeners that he and the Democratic state attorney general who fought the Trump administration in court “prosecuted the dude 44 times, and we’ll prosecute him 44 more times after that, plus 44 more.”
“We have sued Trump for providing gender-affirming care. We are not going to scapegoats in the trans community.” Ellison highlighted.
Although the 2024 election fades in the rearview mirror, Republicans have been relentlessly describing Democrats as extreme leftists.
Former RNC chairman Michael Whatley, who officially resigned last week, ran for the Senate, argued in a Fox News digital interview last week that Democrats are “moving more and more to the left. They are now away from the streets.
“They didn’t learn one thing from election losses in 2024,” Whatley claimed.
RNC Communications Director Zach Parkinson responded to Monday’s DNC meeting, telling Fox News: “Under Ken Martin, Democrats have lowered their minimum approval ratings in 35 years, the DNC is still paying millions of dollars in debt for Kamala Harris’ campaign, while Martin himself is actively supporting the Communists in New York City, we are communists in New York City, and we are a New York City man. We continue to serve as the DNC chair.”
The reference to “communism” points to Democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic nominee for this year’s New York City mayoral election.
But despite all the problems and setbacks of Democrats, they have won some victories lately.
Democrats have won a series of high and special election victories ahead of next year’s midterm elections, when Republicans will defend their majority in the House and Senate as those in power may face historic political headwinds.
Democrats also selected some of the most important recruits in North Carolina’s former Governor Roy Cooper and Ohio’s former Senator Sherrod Brown for the most critical Senate game of 2026.

Although Democratic poll counts are in the gutter, recognition and favorable ratings for Trump and the Republican Party are inevitable. In addition, polls show that the so-called “big beauty bill” is a large-scale Republican domestic policy inspired by Trump, tax cuts and spending laws, which are still unpopular to Americans.
Martin touted: “We have won 38 special elections this year…We have won in this country, including many places where generations have not had blue.”
“Not all of these elections are national news, but I know every race is important. Every inch of the ground we get is important. Every inch of it.”
