The operation includes the longest B-2 mental bomber mission since 2001, Hegseth and Caine said in a Sunday press conference that the second-longest B-2 mission ever was the largest B-2 operational strike in U.S. history.

Midnight Operation was followed by a preemptive strike against Iran on June 12 after months of attempts and stagnant nuclear negotiations, and concerns about Iran raising its nuclear program were intensified.
