Tommy Fleetwood insists that after 11 years of waiting for victory in the United States, he is ready to write a chapter for the success of golf.

Fleetwood’s Three-point victory in the Tour Championship In Atlanta, he started his 164th trip on the PGA Tour. While determined to enjoy the moment, the 34-year-old from Southport has no plans to rest. Fleetwood has been investigated time and time again to learn about his series of close missteps in the United States.

“There are so many guys who win the most wins, they’re always there,” Fleetwood said. “That’s where I want to be. I want to go there. It took me a while to get this win. I never took it as a try.

“The next one may take a long time; I don’t know. But I’ve always had a mindset that I just want to be one of the best players in the world and I want to continue competing. I always feel like this could happen.

“It completes the story of Miss Close and has a progressive measure of the season’s back-end development. But when I get home, I’ll start practicing again. I’ll start working again and I’ll introduce to the next game.”

Fleetwood may rank sixth in the world. He collected a check of $10 million in East Lake. Patrick Cantlay and Russell Henley were pushed to second place, with Fleetwood’s closing ceremony at 68 and under 18. The British victory was very popular throughout the golf course.

“I think it’s easy for anyone to say they’re resilient, rebound, they’ve fought,” Fleetwood added. “It’s different when you actually have to prove that.” There are different types of power in spirit. I was in the difficult moments of icing on the cake and I might have made strange decisions that could have made it swaying. But I have to have spiritual power in different ways. I had to return to that position with my own attitude and I had to take myself back anyway, how much it could be, it was impossible, how much it could be.

“Think about the right things, say the right things to yourself, say the right things to the outside, and I’m glad I can prove that if you do all the right things and you keep moving forward, that will happen.”

Tiger Woods is one of those who immediately praised Fleetwood after the victory. “Your journey reminds you that hard work, resilience and heart do pay off,” Woods said on social media. “No one deserves more.”

Staying away from sports superstars, Fleetwood is identified by the public as a very relevant athlete. “I’ve always been lucky that I’ve made a good connection with people,” Fleetwood said. “If I could give my kids a piece of advice, there were a lot of advice, but I always told them to be a good person, and I kept trying to do that.

“My father always told me that even if I was young, aspiring amateur golfer, a professional golfer, he always said one person first, golfer second.
