Activists say biscuit barrels are craving for American tradition

Conservative activist Robby Starbuck is the latest influencer Cookie barrel Logo dispute. He described the company’s logo makeover as something from “old American nostalgia” to “cold, dead, inanimate and modern.” In his 15-minute video, Starbucks has a brutal victory over the company’s history and explains how it embraced “wokeseneses” over the years.

Starbucks tells His followers are that although the cookie barrel brand is often associated with American tradition, the company is “more interested in customers than left-wing activists who are more interested in safe spaces, pronouns and virtue signals.”

He also noted that the company showed off rocking chairs with rainbow colors and LGBTQ+ badges. The company even placed one in its Tennessee corporate office. Cookie barrels view critics as “vocal minority”, while rival restaurants add opposition

The restaurant chain has previously participated in HRC’s Corporate Equality Index, which measures “company policies, practices and benefits are related to lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgenders and queer employees,” the organization’s website said. The company’s score on the index depends on the inclusive HRC’s judgment of LGBTQ+ employees.

“It has no participation in the Human Rights Campaign Index or has any affiliation with the HRC,” Cracker Barrel told Fox News Digital on Friday.

In Starbucks videos Steve Smotherman and Rachel Campbell, two cookie barrel employees are summoned out.

Starbucks asserted that Smotherman was head of management training and development for Cracker Barrel for 15 years, showing screenshots that appear to be from LinkedIn. Finally, Cracker Barrel’s Smotherman serves on the HRC Business Advisory Committee in Washington, D.C.

Starbucks describes Smotherman as “the prototype activist who fueled the rise of American company DEI.” He also slammed Campbell, training and development manager at Cracker Barrel, who publicly expressed his excitement for the company’s Rainbow Pride Rocking Chair.

“It is important to pay attention to all of this because these types of employees play a key role in keeping the company away from the value of its customers and moving the value of its company. Going to suffocation,” Starbucks said.

He is also co-CEO of DMI Consulting, a company that aims to “inject cultural relevance and creativity into every solution.” Starbucks asserts that Dávila and others like him are responsible for the “wake-up ads” that they have seen in the past few years.

Finally, Starbucks stressed that the dispute over the replacement of the cookie gun logo far exceeded that of the man leaning against the barrel in the chair.

“It’s very, very important to understand that the story of a cookie barrel has nothing to do with the logo. It’s not about the logo at all, it’s about a country, it’s our heritage, it’s a culture. It’s about a dynamic structure that is designed to tell us that we are some degree of backwards, embarrassing, or paranoid.”

He added: “Conservatives can’t hand over money to cookie barrels. Christians can’t hand over money to cookie barrels, so we won’t.”

As Starbucks saw, the Cracker Barrel crash was a win-win for conservatives, who said the company would have to double and lose customers, or restore to the 1977 logo to retain its customer base.
