The ranking members of the House Oversight Committee are traditionally the top foil of the power party, coordinating the party’s response to the investigation into the group’s majority.

Among House Overseers, the key focus for Republicans is the investigation of Biden.

We will bring real results for the American people,” Garcia said in a statement without mentioning the Biden investigation of Comer.

He was elected as a ranking membership through an internal Democratic caucus and defeated three other candidates, including Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas. Crockett especially withdrew from the game after failing to win the Democratic leaders’ advice for the job.
