U.S. health department to deprive thousands of collective bargaining rights | Trump administration

Some CDC employees said the union was a source of information and advocacy for the agency’s employees during this year’s layoffs and after the August 8 shooting on the CDC’s main campus in Atlanta.

Since then, unions have been advocating for better emergency alert systems and better security.

Other affected institutions include the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Strategic Readiness and Response Administration, and the Office of Refugee Resettlement within Children and Family Governments.
