The Department of Justice (DOJ) is scheduled to start handing over documents related to Jeffrey Epstein to the House Oversight Committee on Friday.
Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky). Friday’s documents can still be expected.
Comer recommends that documents be published at some point after the committee’s evaluation.
“We will work as soon as possible…this is sensitive information,” Kentucky Republican said in response to a Fox News Digital inquiry about the timeline for wide releases.
“We want to make sure we don’t do anything to hurt or endanger any victims involved. But we will be transparent. We are doing what we say we want to do. We get the documents. And, I believe the White House will work with us.”

Committee members passed a bipartisan vote last month, directing Comer to pass the DOJ material to the Department of Justice through a bipartisan vote.
The subpoena deadline was originally scheduled earlier this week to accommodate the Trump administration’s efforts – which Comer said fits his demands.
“There are many records in the Justice Department’s detention and the department will spend some time making all records and ensuring the identity of the victim and any child sexual abuse material,” Comer said Tuesday. “I thank the Trump administration for its commitment Be transparent and efforts to provide information on the American people. ”

“It’s just a matter of bringing them together and reviewing it, and I’m sure the Justice Department is doing what we say,” Comer said.
According to a subpoena by Fox News Digital, the required materials include all documents and communications related to Epstein and his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell, as well as materials related to his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell, and the archives “further relating to or refer to human trafficking, exploitation of minors, sexual abuse or related activities.”

In response to strong opposition from some on the right, President Donald Trump and his Justice Department have tried to take steps to disclose more information.
Democrats seized transparency in Epstein’s case with new discovery appeals, prompting some to accuse them of hypocrisy on rights because they did not raise the matter earlier.
Asked about the gap, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas), a member of the House Oversight Committee, told reporters that Epstein’s case was not a Democrat’s priority, as the Republicans have seen.

“Democrats, when they go out to run for election, their campaign costs, whether it’s housing costs, whether it’s food costs or running for children, are able to get the education they deserve in this country.
