Newsom’s account went on to call DeSantis “Meatball Ron” and claimed he “lost to Mickey Mouse,” which apparently refers to the battle at the “Reedy Creek Improvement Zone” where Walt Disney World sat. The area has special authorization in some respects, including maintaining its own highway network.
