Social media broke out Wednesday and Thursday after an illegal immigrant was arrested in Washington, D.C. on a charge of child sex crimes on now-viral videotapes.

Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security, Tricia McLaughlin, explained what happened, allegedly entering the country three times illegally, eventually removed from office and arrested in Fairfax County in January.
