Brent Hinds, former chief guitarist of the famous heavy metal group Mastodonkilled Atlanta overnight.
Police said Hinds, 51, collided with a BMW SUV in his Harley-Davidson, who did not succumb to the corner. The crash occurred around 11.35 pm.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office later confirmed his death.

Mastodon released his first album “Morsission” in 2002. Their hardcore voice combined with styles like Prog-Rock, alternative and junk, quickly caught the attention of heavy metal fans, with its follow-up record Leviathan elevating the group to the metal music mainstream.
