Affordability and “wealth distribution” are at the heart of democratic candidates Zohran Mamdani Mayor’s event, New Yorkers are buying.

Whether it’s firing the canvas man in Prospect Park or answering “ask me any questions” on Instagram, creating a more affordable New York City remains the centerpiece of Mamdani’s message.

“That’s what makes New York so great,” Ian explained. “Everyone from all over the world can come here to live, do business, and contribute to the economy and culture.”

He said: “Making New York a place where more ordinary people live and work” is crucial. Mamdani has been delivering a message on the campaign for months.

Ritvik told Fox News Digital on Tuesday that he was generally more conservative, but he couldn’t find himself to vote for any other candidate.

Mamdani defeated the former administration in June’s Democratic primary. Andrew Cuomois now running as an independent candidate.

The former governor resigned in 2021 in the face of controversy, including multiple sexual harassment allegations and questions about his handling of the Covid-19-19 pandemic.

But Ritvik said he not only voted against those candidates, but also told Fox News Digital that Mamdani’s “verbalism is one of the unity.”

Ritvik agrees that affordability plays a major role in his decision to vote for Mamdani. Especially when it comes to housing, New Yorkers say creating more supply should be a top priority.

Meanwhile, Noah and Ian said it was a “real focus” but they continued to be inspired by Mamdani as he focused his campaign on Trump and instead “helps New Yorkers.”

Mamdani stressed that when Fox News’ Nate Foy was tagged on Wednesday, his platform was “all related”.

“The elements of my platform are all about affordability, and I am a democratic socialist,” Mandani said. “When New Yorkers asked me what it means, I brought them to the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, who said, “Call it is a democracy or call it democratic socialism, and it must provide a better distribution of wealth for all the children of God in this country.”
