“One of the two vehicles involved is a military vehicle,” DC fire spokesman Vito Maggiolo said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “Because of the crash, a person had to be released and transported to a hospital with minor injuries. The crash occurred on 8th Street and North Carolina Avenue.”

The DC National Guard confirmed that a crash in its deposit-resistant all-terrain vehicle (MATV) occurred at 6:14 a.m. local time and the matter is under investigation.
