California Gov. Gavin Newsom also followed the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) and proposed that the California Congress map transfer five Republican seats to Democrats.

Meanwhile, a growing number of Republican countries, including Ohio, Florida, Indiana and Missouri, are moving forward or considering their own rezoning efforts, as well as democracies such as Maryland and Illinois.
