Texas Republicans propose redistricting plans after Democrats return

California Gov. Gavin Newsom also followed the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) and proposed that the California Congress map transfer five Republican seats to Democrats.

When Democrats returned Monday, the strike ended, saying they achieved their goal of blocking votes at the first special legislative session and convinced Democrats in other states to take retaliatory steps.
