Secretary of State Marco Rubio President Donald Trump appreciates the progress made in the Ukrainian war, and he accused the former Biden administration of doing nothing to change the environment of the war.

Rubio appeared on Fox News’ Jesse Waters Prime Time on Monday night after a day-long talks between us and European officials, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. In his appearance, he praised Trump as “the only leader in the world” and he proved that he could hold a peace deal between Zelenskyy’s Ukraine and Vladimir Putin’s Russia, adding Monday conversation It is “unprecedented”.

“After three years of stalemate, no conversation, and no change in the situation, it seems to be the first time there seems to be some movement,” the secretary said. “It has been going on for three and a half years. Many people died, many territories exchanged back and forth, so relaxing is not an easy task, but nothing happened in this war, nothing happened in this war. Literally, our only option is to continue to provide Ukraine with how much need it is, no matter how long it takes, Ukraine will take a long time.”

Rubio noted that ultimately, under the new government, people are “actually talking about the way to end [the war in Ukraine]. ”

“It’s going to take more work and more time, but we’re making progress,” Rubio said. “It’s not what I said, that’s actually every leader out there,” [on Monday] That way. ”

Rubio said that before Trump, Ukraine’s battle was nothing more than “war of death and war of destruction.” He also complained that under Biden, there was no other plan besides continuing to provide weapons to Ukraine.

“This is another driving force for change – we are no longer giving Ukraine weapons, we are no longer giving Ukraine money, we are now selling weapons to Ukraine weapons, and European countries are paying for it through NATO. They are using NATO to buy weapons and transfer them to Ukraine,” Rubio noted. “This is another major change compared to the way this war is approached Biden gives the drug. ”

Following the peace talks in Washington, D.C. on Monday, there were reports that Putin had agreed to a future meeting with Zelenskyy, followed by a trilateral meeting involving the United States.

For Rubio, the fact that the two countries are willing to talk to each other is victory, which is a big change from the previous government.

“I’m not saying they’re leaving that room with a peace deal, but I think the fact that people are talking to each other right now – it’s not happening in three and a half years,” Rubio told host Jesse Waters.
