New York mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani supporters dismissed the “Communist” tag

“I have a lot of students from immigration backgrounds who are worried about their safety, their parents’ safety,” Nicholas said. “I have kids who are worried that the Icefield agents will enter the school and take them out of the classroom.”
