Noelle Foleythe daughter of the legendary wrestling Mick Foleyexplains how a trip to Dollywood has led her on a horrible medical journey for years.
Appearing in “Break the rules” Podcast, hosted by wrestling stars Sarayaon Thursday, August 14, Noelle, 31, said it all started with a bad experience on the roller coaster of the theme park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
“It’s usually roller-type, they rise, then go down, and then gradually disappear,” Noel explained. “This one goes up, down, and then immediately up. It’s like your body is forcing forward and then immediately backward. My head is really hard to hit, something happens on my neck.”
Noelle said there was a little “stretching” on the side of her neck, unlike anything she had never had.
“I’ve never had a concussion before, at least I don’t think I don’t,” Noel said. “I’m like, ‘I’m tired. I want to sleep.’ So I just got a bunch of ice and put them all on my head, the back of my neck and my body just to wake myself up.”
She added: “It took me about two months to realize I had a concussion. I was like, ‘This headache didn’t go away, I was so sensitive to the lights and sounds. I felt weird.'”
Noelle explained that she has had a headache in the past five and a half years since the roller coaster injury.
After seeing “about 50” different doctors and physical therapists, Noelle was diagnosed with a rare neck disease called craniocervical instability.
“We found that I had about 10 ligaments torn around my neck, which would make my neck unstable due to the torn ligament,” she said. “My head is not on my neck. Then all your other muscles are overcompensated. So, these muscles can cause headaches.”
After years of struggling to find the root cause of the headache, Noelle theorized that her breast implant was responsible – so she removed it.
“It’s weird because I was completely fine before the concussion, completely normal,” Noel said. “Then my concussion happened and it was almost like a series of problems. [with] Implant, some problems may be brewing, and then the concussion is a boulder that breaks the camel’s back. ”
Noelle details the intense process of removing implants because they are “trapped by me.”
“They had to scrape it off,” she explained. “The sides of my chest hurt for months.”
