Bill Barr’s four-hour house supervision sedimentary spark party divide

Former Attorney General Bill Barr wrapped up a closed deposition from the House Oversight Committee more than four hours Monday, and lawmakers across the aisle have a very different explanation for its development.

Rep. Jasmine Crockett of D-Texas and Suhas Subramanyam of D-VA said on a staff-led sitting-down committee that they now have “more problems now,” far more than Barr’s testimony began.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, the only Republican, R-ky. He said Barr “emitted a lot of lights” in the Epstein case and said he “answered all the questions submitted to him.”

“I think democracy is doing most of the heavy lifting, and I think we’ve learned a lot from the doubts of House Republicans,” Subramanyam said.

“It doesn’t seem like they really care about the victims and try to get stuck at the bottom of what’s going on.”

“It seems they’re going to be a motion, and they want people to believe they’re digging. But, at the end of the day, I don’t think we’ve learned anything from Republican inquiries that you can’t find in one of the articles that are most likely to print out your socket.”

By contrast, Comer told reporters: “Our goal Conduct this investigation Be transparent. ”

He even praised the Democrats for taking it seriously, adding: “This is a bipartisan investigation and hopefully we can get the answers the American people want and deserve.”

However, when asked about the attacks on Republicans by Democratic lawmakers, Comer accused them of playing a political role in the situation.

“It seems to me that Democrats are unfortunate to try to politicize it. When you look at the horror crimes of this matter, the horror crimes against young girls, of course, the Democrats aim to try to dig out some kind of dirt from President Trump,” Comer said.

Republican workers “asked a lot of tough questions” and accused Democrats of operating on double standards.

“I never remember Democrats summoned for a former Democratic attorney general,” he said.

After Subramanyam raised the possibility that Trump and his allies would “cover”, Comer accused the Democrats of trying to create a “false narrative” that connects Trump and Epstein.

“It’s a serious investigation. It’s a sincere investigation. I hope it will be a bipartisan investigation. I encourage my colleagues in Democracy not to politicize this,” Comer said.

Bill Barr testified that he did not see any information that “hints” Trump in the Epstein case.

“I think General Barr answered a lot of questions that might have ruined their bubble, and he never communicated with him President Trump On a potential Epstein list or anything else. And he has never seen anything that would suggest President Trump. ”

Barr arrived at Capitol Hill nearly an hour before the scheduled deposition, only responding to a series of journalists’ questions, “early birds get worms.”

Even if Fox News Digital and others questioned what he told House investigators, he spoke the same way.

When asked if he had a good conversation on Monday, Barr just said “absolutely.”

A source familiar with his testimony told Fox News numbers that Barr “clearly stated that President Trump never provided any view or instructions related to a criminal case against Jeffrey Epstein or his death, and that he had never seen any evidence that President Trump committed a crime.”

“He further said he believed that if such evidence existed, the Biden Justice Department would release any guilty evidence against President Trump,” the source said.

Barr was the first of several people who were called to appear on the House Oversight Committee after Republicans and Democrats voted to open the investigation last month.

Several other former lawyers, former FBI directors, and even the former First Couple and Hillary Clinton were called.

Fox News Digital contacted Barr’s attorney for comment, but did not hear immediately.
