It’s been six years since then Megan, you stud Officially announced its “Hot Girl Summer” and her name hit single, a lot has changed.
First, we survived the global pandemic. But, not only that – perhaps because of this situation, society’s feelings about sex have changed dramatically. Don’t look at Virgin Summer for proof.
It all begins with Lod Her highly anticipated fourth album was announced in April virgin; When it was released in June, the album Art featured X-rays of the pelvis, and the iud was completely passable.
V-word debuted again when TLC premiered the reality series virginIt’s about (guzzling!) people in their 30s and 40s, hoping to eventually have sex.

Global New ZealandHulu follows and announces August performance Are you my first one?co-hosted by the Bachelor’s Reality Dating Series Colton Underwood and Kaitlyn Bristowe This brings together adults who are looking for love and have not done anything yet.
“People are more eager to be honest than ever.” Underwood, 33, US Weekly Just a new series. “Virginity sounds like a topic of recap, but the way we tell these stories now is refreshing and modern.”
Executive Producer Karen Plumb She added that she believes there are a lot of media around virginity this year “just because there are more adult virgins than ever before.”
She is right. The latest survey of family growth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says adult virility has the highest rates in U.S. history, with one statistics reporting that one in a quarter of adults has never had sex. (Z-ers Gen is currently from 13 to 28.)
“They are no longer just running away at will, but tend toward emotional connections. Coupled with a broader digital culture, social media often replaces face-to-face interactions, and the impact of movements like #MeToo and abstinence-based education — still receiving billions of dollars in federal funding in the United States — you start to see the layering reasons behind this shift,” Plumb said.

Disney/Jeff DalyEP Peter Gaster Added to “level of authenticity and sincerity” Are you my first one? Bringing realistic dating types makes them “especially powerful and relevant in 2025”.
Plus all the general shifts to American conservatism (see: Trader and the right-wing anti-tuning platform), it all makes sense.
Take Lorde for example, despite her album title provocative, her latest project has nothing to do with sexual inexperience, gender and independence. The artist explains her project: “I tried to make a document that reflects my femininity: original, original, innocent, elegant, open, spiritually, Masc.” Thinking about purity in a conceptual way, rather than accusation or judgment.

Perhaps we should look at Virgin Summer in a similar way, a way to free individuals from oppressive sexual stigma – whether they are dirty or not.
40-year-old Bristowe bachelor – Tell us. “I hope [our show] Aegre [viewers] Live more realistically – Be who they are, not who they think they should be. ”
Maybe Virgin Summer might be your chance to embrace your sex agent, regain independence, or even just listen to some Lorde.
