Exclusive: First Lady Melania Trump Fox News Digital learned that a “peace letter” was written to Russian President Vladimir Putin, telling him that “it’s time to protect children and future generations around the world.

“Dear President Putin,” the first lady’s letter began. “Whether it’s a randomly born into a countryside or a grand urban center, every child shares the same quiet dream in their hearts. They dream about love, danger, possibility and safety.”
“As parents, it’s our responsibility to foster the hope of the next generation,” the letter continues. “As leaders, the responsibility to maintain our children is beyond the scope of a few comforts.”
“It is undeniable that we must strive to draw a world full of dignity for all so that everyone can awaken peace so that the future itself is perfectly protected,” the letter reads. “A simple and profound concept, I am sure that Mr. Putin is that every generation of descendants begins their own lives with a pure life, a kind of innocence, superior to geography, government and ideology.”
The First Lady continued: “In today’s world, some children are forced to carry a quiet laugh, unaffected by the darkness around them, a silent objection that has the potential to claim their future power.”

“Mr. Putin, you can restore their melodic laughter with one hand,” the first lady wrote. “In protecting the innocence of these children, you will not be alone in serving Russia – you serve humanity itself.”
“Such a bold idea goes beyond all human sectors, and Mr. Putin, you can implement this vision today with the pen in the pen,” she wrote. “It’s time.”
Mrs. Trump’s “peace letter” was written Friday ahead of her historic meeting with Putin in Anchorage, Alaska. High-stakes meeting is the first US-Russian summit since June 2021Under the administration of former President Joe Biden, just eight months before Putin invaded Ukraine.
Although Trump and Putin did not meet in person in the years before Friday, they spoke several times this year on the phone to discuss the end of the war with Ukraine.
