In other words, the total difference in Season 2 is that we don’t have sea legs yet. We didn’t really scratch the surface of some of the other characters in the ensemble. We haven’t been home much. We don’t dig into their backstory and how they get to where they are in their lives, such as all their trials, tribulations and relationships. ”

“We’re happy to write some other characters. But I think the biggest knowledge about how we structure these plots is why we care about it? Why you care about this particular situation, or resonate with not only Morgan, but with every character,” Harthan continued. “It’s making sure we’re not lazy with those stories that we tell every week. I’m trying to think of each plot as my own little movie, and this year, we have the luxury of the lessons we’ve learned – good and bad – and plan and plan the seasons so we don’t waste any of those episodes. How many plots we end up with their little movies, just like their little movies.”

“Rome is a very important and amazing actor. We’ve never met Morgan’s mother and father. We haven’t met anyone yet.”
