Thompson, 34, brought the 8-year-old prince to school on his first day of third grade, a rare video shared by basketball stars Instagram Account on Wednesday, August 13. The video first shows Thompson having the prince ride in his car seat, then cut the edits of the father-son duo and strolled the sidewalk together.
“Are you going to school?” Thompson asked Prince, who shared with his ex. Jordan Craig. “You’re going, third grade. What’s the most exciting thing about third grade?”
Prince replied: “Get a Chromebook because you can take them home and take them to school.”
When asked what he was excited about, Prince said: “You can get a prize in third grade.”
In another clip, the prince excitedly stepped out of the steps of his school.
Fans in the comments section sent goodwill to Prince during the new school year.
