Jackie was diagnosed with Lewy’s physical dementia in 2020. According to Mayo Clinic, it is the second most common form of dementia that affects a person’s cognitive ability.

In its statement, the foundation described Jackie’s final years as “a quiet final chapter that tells the true meaning of life, perseverance and determination, kindness and service to others in all of us, friends and family.”
