Vice President JD Vance defends Monday President Donald Trump Iran’s position on social media on what he calls “crazy” allegations.
“Look, I saw this from it and admitted to being biased against our president (and my friends), but there are A lot of crazy stuff On social media, I want to solve some problems directly on the Iran issue,” Vance wrote on X.

“In the past few months, he has encouraged his foreign policy team to reach an agreement with the Iranians to achieve this goal. The president made it clear that Iran cannot have the abundance of uranium.
The vice president said he saw “civilian nuclear power” online and “Uranium enrichment.”
“These are all different issues. Iran can have no reinforced civilian nuclear power, but Iran rejects that,” Vance said. “At the same time, they have enriched uranium far more than the level necessary for any civilian purpose. They have violated the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) (IAEA) non-proliferation obligations, which is hardly a right-wing organization.
“It is one thing to want civilian nuclear energy. It is another to require complex abundance capabilities. It is also a violation of basic non-proliferation obligations and enriching the rights of weapon-grade uranium while insisting on enrichment.”

Israel says it has air superiority over Tehran, where Iranian intelligence leader was killed
Vance says He has not seen a good argument about why Iran needs to make uranium enrichment far above the civilian use threshold” and “why Iran is justified in order to violate its non-proliferation obligation.”
“I haven’t seen a good challenge to the IAEA’s discovery yet,” he wrote. “At the same time, the President has shown great restrictions in keeping the military focused on protecting our troops and protecting our citizens. He may decide that he needs to take further action to end Iran’s fulfillment. This decision ultimately belongs to the President.
“Of course, after the stupid foreign policy of the past 25 years, people are right to worry about foreign entanglement. But I believe the president has won some trust on this issue. After getting close and personalized, I can assure you that he is only his interest in using the American military to achieve the goals of the American people. Whatever he does, his focus is his focus.”
