A father and son were rescued from the swollen Menomonee River in Wisconsin after jumping in to save their dog.
The heavy rains over the weekend caused flooding in several counties, with rivers swelling at levels and creating dangerous currents.
Rescuers found the father and his son struggling in a strong tide, but the son swept under the water and was swept across the river.
Both were rescued and taken to the hospital.
