First on Fox: this Trump administration Announced a new tool that said will help enable agencies across the federal government to effectively implement AI at scale and take a major step forward to launching the president’s “AI Action Plan.”

Trump’s General Services Administration (GSA) said Thursday that the agency described it as a “safe generative AI evaluation suite that enables federal agencies to pay for large-scale, safer fees without paying it,” said it.

The agency said the platform is available through usai.ov from 10 a.m. Thursday, allowing government users to use “powerful” tools such as “chat-based AI, code generation and document summary” with the goal of “enhancing employee productivity.”

“USAI is not only another tool, but also the infrastructure for the future of American AI,” explained David Shive, GSA’s CIO. “USAI helps governments cut costs, increase efficiency and provide better services to the public while maintaining the trust and security that Americans expect.”

GSA deputy administrator Stephen Ehikian told Fox News Digital that this latest application is the “ramp” of AI and it will be the “spearhead” on the AI frontier, similar to how GSA previously implemented the cloud.

The Trump administration developed an AI action plan in July after Trump ordered an AI action plan in January to “consolidate our position as a global leader in AI and ensure a bright future for all Americans.”

Trump has made the growth of USAI a cornerstone of his administration, such as a multi-billion-dollar deal with Stargate Project, a high-tech company like Oracle and OpenAI, to launch large data centers in the U.S. and to provide Pennsylvania with $90 billion in energy and technology investment deals to make Pennsylvania offer AI Hub for Ai Hub.

“European Statistics means not only access, but also a competitive advantage to the American people,” GSA Deputy Director Stephen Ehikian said in a press release.

“The launch of USAI shows how GSA translates President Trump’s AI strategy into action and accelerates AI adoption across the administration. USAI will put the tools that prepare tasks directly into the hands of institutions to modernize faster, improve security and lead globally.”

The AI action plan includes a three-pillar approach to American workers, freedom of speech and a protection of American manufacturing technology.

“We want to center American workers and make sure they benefit from AI,” AI and Crypto Czar David Sacks told the media in July.

“The second is that we believe that AI systems should be free of ideological bias, rather than agenda designed to pursue social engineering,” Sachs said. “So we have a lot of advice on how to ensure AI is still seeking truth and trustworthy. Then, the third principle across the pillars is that we believe we must prevent our advanced technology from being abused or stolen by malicious actors. We also have to monitor the emerging and difficult risks of AI.”

GSA Commissioner Josh Gruenbaum explained in an interview earlier this month that GSA’s efforts to fulfill Trump’s directive to maintain U.S. leadership in a global technology competition, at the heart of GSA’s efforts to fulfill Trump’s efforts to maintain U.S. leadership in the global technology competition.

“When we checked the president’s AI action plan, we heard the call for action, ‘Hey, it’s a game, we’re going to win this game.’ From our perspective, it’s synonymous, it’s widely adopted,” he told Fox Digital to deliver AI to federal employees.

After the announcement in early August, Openai’s Chatgpt Enterprise will now be available to all federal agencies to use Openai’s Chatgpt Enterprise, announced that all federal agencies will be included in their workflow for $1 per agent after the launch of the USAI tool. The deal with Openai, the tech company behind Chatgpt, is part of GSA Onegov strategy, which aims to modernize the Trump administration’s “how the federal government buys goods and services.”

GSA also reached another deal this month with AI companies Humane, providing the government with all three branches that can use the large language model Claude.

Gruenbaum told Fox News Digital that Thursday’s announcement is crucial for building efficient institutions to help transform the federal workforce into “the most agile, smartest, efficient, agile, agile, agile, technologically advanced workforce so that the country can continue to compete and win the AI race.”
