First lady Melania Trump threatened to sue Hunter Biden for more than $100 million after he claimed she was introduced to her husband by sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The lawyer acting on behalf of the First Lady married U.S. President Donald Trump in 2005, calling the claim “false, derogatory, slanderous and inflammatory.”

Biden, the son of former U.S. President Joe Biden, commented in an interview earlier this month, in which he strongly criticized the president’s forward relationship with Epstein.

Donald Trump is a friend of Epstein, but he said the two fell in the early 2000s because the financier poached employees working at the spa where Trump works at the Florida Golf Club.

A letter from the first lady’s lawyer and a letter to Hunter Biden’s lawyer asking him to withdraw his claim and apologize, or face legal lawsuits with “more than $1 billion in damages.”

It said the first lady suffered “overwhelming financial and reputational damage” due to his repeated claims.

It also accuses the youngest Byton son of “having a huge history of trading under the name of others” and repeatedly advocates “to attract attention to oneself.”

Hunter Biden claimed that unreleased documents related to Epstein would “implicate” President Trump in an extensive interview with film producer Andrew Callaghan.

“Epstein introduced Melania to Trump – the connection is so broad and profound,” he said. The first lady’s legal letter noted that the statement was attributed in part to Michael Wolff, who wrote the president’s key biography.

Wolff reportedly claimed in a recent interview with The Daily Beast that the first lady was known to Epstein and Trump’s colleagues when she met her current husband.

The socket later received a letter from the First Lady’s lawyer, challenging the content and framework of the story.

Epstein has no evidence that this pair of people introduces each other, and Epstein died in prison while awaiting trial in 2019.

In the first lady’s legal letter, Hunter Biden was accused of relying on self-adapted articles as the basis of his claims and was called “false and defamatory.”

A message about the archived version of the Daily Beast online story reads: “After publishing the story, the Beast received a letter from the lawyers of First Lady Melania Trump, challenging the title and framework of the article.

“After reviewing the matter, the Beast has deleted the article and apologized for any confusion or misunderstanding.”

When asked about the legal threat, First Lady’s lawyer Alejandro Brito forwarded BBC news to a statement issued by her assistant Nick Clemens.

It reads: “The lawyers of First Lady Melania Trump are actively ensuring that those who spread maliciousness and defamatory falsehood immediately withdraw and apologize.”

Personal profile for January 2016 Harper’s Market Report The First Lady met with her husband in November 1998 at a party hosted by the founder of the modeling agency.

Melania Trump, 55, told the publication that she refused to give him a phone number because he “dated.”

The profile says Trump recently separated from his second wife, Marla Maples, who divorced in 1999. He used to marry Ivana Trump between 1977 and 1990.

The BBC has contacted Hunter Biden’s lawyer.

The legal letter comes after the White House pressure on the release of the so-called Epstein archives, an unpublished document on a criminal investigation into convicted pedophiles.

Before re-electing, Trump said he would release records if he returned to the office, but the FBI and the Justice Department said in July that there were no “crimes” of Epstein’s colleagues’ list of clients.
