Texas Democrats fleeing the country to break legal person Destroy the efforts to re-division Republican Governor Greg Abbott suggested in an interview with Fox News Digital that he could face felony bribery charges.
Some AWOL Democrats reportedly are Plan to return As the second special legislative session begins next week, Abbott, who served as state attorney general and sat in the state Supreme Court, told Fox News that the state is investigating whether they are violating bribery laws by using money to break the legal head.
“There are already some people paying for it,” Abbott explained. “I have to tell you that this raises a serious legal issue for these office holders, that is, if they break the quorum, they promise them that it will be a bribe that could lead to a felony.”
According to Abbott, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, also a Republican, is investigating whether Democratic lawmakers can be attacked on felony bribery charges.
“This is also something the Texas Attorney General is investigating, and is actually even due to a temporary court injunction, as there may be potential bribery consequences, thus stopping more money,” the governor explained.

This was issued by Tarrant County District Court Judge Megan Fahey Temporary restriction order Last Friday, Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke and his team, backed by the people, allegedly “illegal fundraising” is linked to efforts to support Texas Democrats who fled the state, including funding air travel, accommodation, logistics, logistics and daily fines.
Fahey’s order will O’Rourke or his group continue to raise funds or provide financial support to the fleeing Texas Democrats.
Fahey wrote under the order: “The defendant has and will continue to conduct illegal fundraising and use of political funds in a manner that directly violates or leads to breach by democratic lawmakers in Texas. [the law]”Contributors to the Group” have and continue to suffer irreparable harm through these illegal acts as they are making political contributions that are used to fund personal spending and violate state laws. ”
In light of this, Abbott warned: “These home figures will not only face the challenge of having to re-treat the consequences of their not being here, but also addressing potential bribery allegations against them.”

The redivision bill that caused the Democrats to stir up trouble is Texas Senate passed Tuesday. If two congresses in the Texas Legislature are finally passed and signed into law by Abbott, the new regional map of Texas will provide Republicans with an estimated additional five seats in Congress. Now, all that is blocking are rogue House Democrats.
Abbott said he had Texas law enforcement “now searching the streets of Texas to determine if there are Democrats in Texas.”
“If so, they will be arrested and taken to the Texas Capitol for a quorum,” he said.
“There are 88 Republicans ready to work and able to work. We need 12 Democrats to show up. So we are looking for 12 Democrats in Texas, or if they are all outside of them, we are looking to identify them and, as you pointed out, use federal officials and others to assist us in working on it.”
Abbott faces harsh criticism from Democratic leaders and other governors in other political aisles because they do not support Texas’ redistricting plan.

California Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom called on the president on Monday Donald Trump “Call Greg Abbott and tell him to stand.”
“You are not the 5 seats in Congress. If you do not cancel your suitcase, the CA will act quickly and quickly. We will be on the ballot. We will neutralize any gains you have made. We will not stand when you condone democracy,” Newsom said.
In another X post on the Newsom official press office page, the governor appears to have mimicked Trump’s trait style of using full hats and high-end words in many of his posts, writing: “California will now draw new, more “beautiful map’, and they will be historic as they will end President Trump (Dems brings home!).
The post said Newsom will hold a press conference on the matter this week and that it will be “destructive to ‘Maga’.”

However, Abbott said he was not shocked by the Democrats’ attacks.
“Listen, Democrats in other states are completely out of control,” he said to Fox News numbers. “For decades, they have been in Mander’s operations in California, Illinois, New York and elsewhere, and have lost contact with the people.”

He noted that Texas’s re-division plan was within legal parameters, explaining: “What happened here is that last year the law in Texas has changed, which authorized the state to re-define those boundaries because it did not require legal changes in the alliance area.”
“So we are able to attract these areas in a way that represents the value that will be lined up with Texas voters,” he said, adding, adding: “What we do in our state is to make sure we will have areas that are represented by people who really represent these voters.”
In response, a Newsom spokesman directed Fox News Digital to another X post from the governor’s office, which mocked Abbott for saying that the re-division efforts reflect the will of voters, saying: “Greg Abbott’s power is Greg Abbott’s power, and now captures voters??”
Speakers for Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker and New York Gov. Kathy Hochul both recommended Fox News Digital to the governor’s previous comments.
Hochul’s office noted that she posted a comment on Fox News on Sunday, calling the rezoning effort a “legal uprising.”
“Texas, we’ll get it out, we’ll get it out, let’s get back to rule,” Hawkel said. “But do you want to play these games? We won’t be sitting on the sidelines because of the fight back.”
A spokesman for Pritzker simply said: “Think he was clear”, while digitally referring Fox News to the governor’s previous comments.
Fox News Digital also contacted the Texas Democratic Caucus, but received no immediate response.
