Israel helps Palestinians who transfer humanitarian aid to Gaza

An Israeli NGO is working behind the scenes to provide a key link between Israeli military and international organizations to keep in mind a goal: seeking humanitarian assistance from Palestinian civilians.

“In two and a half months after the ceasefire collapsed, Israel announced nothing,” Polizer said. “That’s policy because the plan is putting pressure on Hamas.”

The CEO of ISRAAID said the focus must be on saving lives, rather than playing the “blame game.” He urged the United Nations, Israel Defense Forcesthe Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) and all humanitarian organizations work together and find solutions.

“As a humanitarian organization, the concept of “not hurt” is indeed our Bible,” Polizer added.

A few months after the war began, Israel began receiving requests from global humanitarian organizations that they worked with. Afghanistan and Ukraineseek help to promote assistance to Gaza.
