The White House hosts UFC Battle Night on July 4

The White House will hold the Ultimate Battle Championship (UFC) next year, as part of the U.S. celebration on July 4 to mark the country’s 250th anniversary.

UFC boss Dana White announced the Octagon Cage battle, his friendship with the president dating back to the early 2000s when Trump hosted some UFC events on his commercial properties.

“It’s going to happen,” White told CBS morning.

White said he plans to meet with the president and his daughter Ivanka at the end of this month to finalize the plan. A White House official confirmed the event to the BBC.

This will mark the first time that the UFC combat match will be held in the White House.

It is not clear where the event will be held. The UFC fight usually attracts thousands and is held in large arenas, with sports trademarks on eighty ogen cages on the middle eight sides.

“When he called me and asked me to do so, he said, ‘I hope Ivanka is in the meantime.’” White said of the discussion with Trump.

“So Ivanka reached out to me, the possibility she and I started talking about, that’s where, I know, I sorted out all the effects.”

Trump mocked the idea of holding a fight at the White House at an event in Iowa last month.

He noted that there were some ideas to build a cage for the White House reason and suggested that the event could be held up to 25,000 people.

“We will be fighting the UFC for the White House reason to think that,” Trump said in a tribute to the state’s U.S. event on July 4. “We have a lot of land there.”

He told supporters at the event that he said it will hold a year-long celebration during the U.S. 250th birthday, with special events also being held in U.S. National Parks and Historic Sites.

The UFC fight is Trump’s latest move to put a mark on the White House.

He made the entire White House complex a priority for his second term. So far, he has renovated his Oval Office with golden decorations, spread over the lawns of the Rose Garden, erected two large flagpoles on the north and south lawns, and announced plans to build a new $200 million (£151 million) ballroom on the East Wing.

Last week, he walked on the roof of the West Wing and said he was looking for “another way to spend money on this country.”

The battle plan was to announce a seven-year, $7.7 billion deal to stream UFC battles shortly after Paramount, which owns CBS.
