A pair of Democratic and Republican representatives seem to recognize Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plan for Israel Take over Gaza On Sunday.

R-Ark. Rick Crawford and Josh Gottheimer of DN.J. appeared on “Fox News Sunday” with host Shannon Bream after a joint visit to Israel. Netanyahu’s office faces some criticism after it voted on Friday to allow the IDF to take over Gaza completely.

Crawford argued that such a plan would be safer for the rest of the hostages detained in Hamas.

“I think in the current situation, their risk of death is greater than the actions taken by the IDF,” Crawford said of the hostages. “Basically, Hamas is starving them to death. People are talking about the hunger in Gaza. Hunger is in the hands of Hamas, mainly targeting the hostages they hold.”

Meanwhile, Gottheimer said that as long as IDF’s participation is indeed temporary, Israel’s takeover is the “right answer”. He believes that Hamas must be completely crushed, but another management structure must be established.

“The Prime Minister is very clear…there is no intention to occupy or annex for a long time, and I think that’s the right answer,” he said. “You need to make sure you smash Hamas, get humanitarian aid, and then get a new management structure.”

Netanyahu and his safety cabinet announced on Friday Israel Plan Re-control of the entire Gaza territory and eventually handed over it to friendly Arab forces against Hamas.

Netanyahu announced on X: “The safety cabinet has approved the Prime Minister’s proposal to defeat Hamas. The International Air IDF will prepare to control Gaza City while distributing humanitarian aid to civilians outside the combat zone.”

The office said the security cabinet ended the war by voting to pass five principles, including: disarming Hamas, the return of all hostages – lives and dead, demilitarization of the Gaza Strip, Israeli security control in the Gaza Strip, Israeli security control in the Gaza Strip, and the establishment of an alternative government of Hamas, nor is it the authority of Hamas and Palestine.

Twenty years after Israel was completely separated from its enclave, the prospect of full military occupation of Gaza was 20 years later when the government forced the evacuation of about 8,600 Jewish residents from the region. Not long after, Hamas won the Palestinian legislative elections and held a violent coup to overthrow the Palestinian Authority and seize control of the Gaza Strip.
