Former Vice President Kamala Harris Her upcoming book about her brief White House campaign in 2024 has returned to national focus, and she is buzzing about whether she will try again in 2028.

She was also being chaired by House Oversight Committee James Comer (R-Ky) as the politician looked keenly at Harris’ next move.

Comer almost guarantees that his committee will contact Harris when he made an appearance on “Ingraham Angle” last week. He joined Fox News Channel after Harris announced she would not run for California governor, and as some have speculated he would embark on a listening tour and try to promote Democrats across the country.

“I think that’s another thing Kamala Harris is not running for governor – she will have more time before the House Oversight Committee and testify that Joe Biden’s cognitive decline,” Comer said. “So, I think Kamala Harris has a high chance of getting a subpoena.”

Harris stayed away from any direct election ambitions during his recent appearance on “Later Show with Stephen Colbert.” She stressed that she wanted to hear from all voters, but that it was not necessarily ruled out for a future presidential campaign.

“I believe, and I have always believed, as fragile as our democracy, our systems will be enough to defend our most basic principles. And, I think now, they are not as powerful as they need to be,” Harris said.

“And I just don’t want to be right now, I don’t want to go back to the system. I think, I want to travel this country. I want to listen to other people. I want to talk to people. I don’t want it to be traded, I want them to vote.”

Jonathan Turley, a Fox News contributor and professor at George Washington University School of Law, told Fox News that the optics of the Congressional subpoena is ideal for potential candidates in 2028.

“It’s a tough question for Harris, who obviously has the willingness to run again,” Terley said when asked if he would suggest Harris to show up. “The committee could force her to show up. But the optical factor of forced subpoena is not exactly the best for those who want to run for this office again.”

However, he added that Harris will be the “natural” target of the hole detector.

“Harris occupies a unique place in the inner circle of the White House,” Turi said.

But he and former House Oversight Committee Chairman Gowdy, now Fox News host, are skeptical that bringing Harris to Harris would generate a lot of new information.

Gaudi told Fox News numbers, “It’s definitely worth investigating. Yes. Yes. Yes? No, no.

The former South Carolina congressman, who also served as federal prosecutor, predicted that Harris’ attorney would seek to bury any potential emergence in legal proceedings under executive and/or presidential privilege claims.

“During this period, both sides repeatedly invoked such privileges Congressional Investigation,” Gaudi said.

“To exclude names for analogy only, I can’t think of an advisor who is closer to the president than he or she or her vice president. So when you resort to the question of litigation, can you force the vice president to talk about his or her conversation with the president, with the president, with the president, with the president, with the president, with the president, with the president, The President’s Physician – You will be as old as you were when you were litigating. ”

House investigators must arm “specific” questions to avoid people like Harris answering “opinion questions.”

Gaudi believes that Harris is a “legal” witness and a question of Biden’s automatic use, especially in the pardon, which “is necessary to review further.”

However, he warned that the consequences of valid subpoenas accompanies.

Prosecutors can send police and have [people] join in. Congress can’t do it. A judge may send a witness to a representative of a marshal or sheriff, if the witness is stubborn. “Congress can’t do that. So your power is only the ability you can execute it,” said Goddy.

A Biden spokesman declined to comment on Comer’s threat of subpoena when it reached the Fox News figures.

A Harris spokesman and House Oversight Committee Democrats did not return a request for comment.
