In response, Tricia McLaughlin, assistant secretary of communications at the Department of Homeland Security, told Fox News: “These members of Congress could have arranged a tour; instead, they were opening clicks and fundraising emails in court.”
After the incident, Ivey’s office shared a letter with Fox News Digital on July 21, and the delegation informed Noem and agency ice company Todd Lyons that they intend to visit the Baltimore factory. Commenting on the lawsuit, Mike Marinella, spokesman for the National Republican Congress Committee, told Fox News numbers that the Democrats “have gone from ignoring the border to targeting men and women who enforce it.”
“It’s a platform for the Democratic Party, and they’re not even trying to hide it,” Marinella said.
