The Senate had a package of spending bills ahead of schedule and broke a party deadlock late Friday night threatening to derail the government-funded process.
Move three bills, including Fund bill For military construction and veterans affairs, the Agriculture and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the legislative branch, most of the week has been on the ice as lawmakers on both sides of the aisle want to block bills.

“I just think we need to set an example when we increase spending by 6%, and others are even less,” Kennedy said on the Senate ground. “We’re sending a message that we’re special and I don’t think we’re not.”
Now, it heads to the House, where Republicans have angered the Senate bills exceeding the level of spending it approved.
