Olympic legend Greg Louganis After selling some medals to afford to leave the United States, the latest news about his new life in Panama was released.

“Basically, I tell all my friends and people close to me, I’m embracing ‘I don’t know’ via Instagram Monday, September 8.

Louganis Last month announced that he had “auctioned” three medals He sold his home in the United States before his stay in Panama.

“I need money,” Luganis wrote via Facebook on August 29.

Louganis explained that he had not decided to move to Panama full-time and expressed interest in exploring the rest of the world during the new chapter.

“I have a few places I want to check before landing,” Louganis said. “Panama is one of them, mainly because a friend of mine reached out to me and wanted me here.”

He continued: “That’s one thing I realized in California. I really don’t have connections. I don’t have a community. That’s what I really want.”

Louganis revealed that he currently lives in Boquete, a small town in Panama in the western region, which he said was listed as “one of the three most affordable places to retire”.

“Out of curiosity, I just wanted to check it out.” “I met some great people in the expat community and all of this.”

Louganis explained in a Facebook post last month that he was inspired to distance himself from material possessions after “many friends” lost their homes in a devastating January California wildfire.

“I know I chose to do this, but their resilience was the inspiration for me to start over, open hearts and open doors,” Louganis wrote. “It opened up possibilities. I realized that I often shut myself down, close myself, and play with others’ comfort.”

“I don’t think I realize what I might be able to achieve,” he added.

Louganis also discusses his decorative diving career, admitting that he feels like the “creation” of the coach, Ron O’Brien.

“I’m honored, proud and lucky to be with him,” Luganis said. “It’s all done with the heart of love. Now I can find out who Greg Luganis is? No attention and noise outside. At least that’s my goal, hey, I probably can’t find it.”

He continued: “I think I find it sometimes, and my goal is to live! Discover, allow and nurture the spirit of humanity, through the experience of life. Be happy in the moment, embrace sadness, anger and laughter, and embrace everything, and embrace everything, feel everything in this experience, we call our life.”
