Why Sheinelle Jones Today Gets Husband Uche Ojeh’s Cancer Private

During her return today,,,,, Sheinelle Jones Resolved her decision to keep her husband Uche OjehThe cancer battle before his death.

“Probably some people are watching and they’ll say, ‘Why doesn’t she share? Why does she hold it for so long?’ What I’m going to tell you is that Uche is private,” Jones, 42, said on Friday, September 5. “I chose the spotlight, but he’s not on Instagram, he’s not on Facebook.”

Jones recalls Oye asking her Unofficial speech About his health.

“When he got this diagnosis, he asked me, ‘Please, I want to deal with this privately.’ Over the years, he has protected us and the kids so much that it was my turn to protect,” she added. “And he is so loyal, so it’s my turn to be loyal. We’re honored. Now I’m comfortable talking.”

Later in the episode, Jones confirmed her Diagnosis of ojeh was found November 2023.

“I’ve been running for a few weeks [New York City] marathon. I know people would say, “What?” but I ran that marathon on my shoulders. She said, I hardly knew that a marathon would prepare me for a real person.

Jones and Ojeh started dating in the 90s after meeting at Northwestern University. They got married in 2007 and shared 15-year-old Clara and Uche’s child Kayin. “Family health issues” led to her interruption.

“I sincerely thank everyone who reached out to me when I was absent from the show,” she wrote via Instagram in January. “Not only have I received support from my acting family today, but also all of you, I have not lost it. Your kindness means a lot to me.”

“This morning, we shared that our friend’s husband and today’s colleague Sheinelle Jones died after a brave fight against a radical form of brain cancer, and we shared that our husband Uche Ojeh passed away,” a tearful Guthrie said on a live broadcast on NBC morning. “We have no words of pain for Sheinelle and their three little kids. Uche is an incredible person. We all love him. So we want to take a moment to tell you more about the outstanding man who is the perfect partner in Sheinelle’s life.”

Guthrie elaborated at the time: “He is her perfect match; a man’s happy spirit and quiet power complement Sheinelle in every way. Family, friends and his deep faith are always his true north.”

She continued: “He is a passionate football player, singing in his church choir and working on his Nigerian heritage, instilling in their children with deep connections to his cultural roots. Today, celebrate his life with a heavy heart. A devout husband, a loving father, a generous spirit caresses all who know him.”
