Loosely based on non-fiction books Paint Girl: The Birth of Drugs in Underground UK go through Marek Kohnthe series follows housewife Kate Galloway (Julianne Nicholson), built an underground nightclub for her daughter.
She soon encountered drug dealers, gangs and policemen, but she rose up with a cruelty as much as her enemy. Sadly cancelled after one season, Paint Girl Still worth a look – it’s a tough and wise crime drama.
