New York City Mayor candidate Zohran Mamdani, 33, is required to perform two bench press representatives at the annual Men’s Day event in Brooklyn on Saturday.

The 33-year-old Ugandan-born socialist needs the help of his observers when trying 135 lb lift.

He shifted the spotlight to his observer, a member of “500 Men Make a Difference”, which hosted the event as a “sum of” effort.

Mamdani thanked the organizers for “celebrating what makes this community beautiful” and noted that he looks forward to “being your next mayor next year.”

According to its website, the organization focuses on skills to support black social mobility and promote their civic responsibility.

Group events and project moderators combine the mentors and trainees they work with.
