Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer was asked Wednesday if he plans to act with the president Donald Trump’s Asked to expand his control over the Washington, D.C. Police Force.
Schumer commented when he made a appearance with host Aaron Parnas’s “Parnas Views.” The top Democratic Party has made it very clear that his party will do everything possible to prevent Trump’s transformation from exceeding the current 30 days.
When asked about the extension, Schumer told Parnas: “There is no way.”
“We’re going to fight him with teeth and nails. … He needs to get Congress to approve it, not only we won’t approve it, but some Republicans don’t like it either.”

Schumer continued: “It’s another distraction. He’s afraid of Epstein.” Schumer continued. “He is afraid of all this, we won’t give up on Epstein.”
Trump confirms On Wednesday, he asked Congress to extend control of the Metropolitan Police Department to 30 days after the National Rule Act.
However, Trump claims that if Congress does not cooperate, he can unilaterally extend the period by declaring a national emergency.
“Well, if it’s a national emergency, we can do that without Congress. But we hope to be in Congress soon. Again, we don’t think Democrats will do anything to stop crime, but we think Republicans will almost do it unanimously. So we’ll need a crime cost. We’ll be in the initial example, we’ll be living in the center.
“You can’t have 30 days,” he said. “We’re going to do this very soon, but we’re going to expand. I don’t want to call a national emergency, but if I have to.”
