Security cameras at Nebraska State Prison capture footage of the moment when roofs blew up prison housing units in a severe August 9 storm.
According to the state jail, no one was injured and everyone affected was moved safely.
Director Rob Jeffreys said: “In Corrections, we train for accidents, for accidents, and added: “While many of our employees are facing their own home losses, they still show up to ensure teammates, population and Nebraska’s safety.” ”
