California Gov. Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, pointed out Donald Trump’s connection to the late sexual predator in recent days Jeffrey Epsteinas the president tried to close questions about his administration’s refusal to release documents on the Epstein case and claimed there was no “customer list”.
Newsom appeared in Shawn Ryan’s show earlier this week, and during Shawn Ryan’s performance, he was asked about the Trump administration’s failure to release Epstein’s archives after swearing during the campaign to announce the release of such documents.
“For me, the whole thing has been a side show,” Newsom said. “But when Elon, I thought it was really fun [Musk] Tweet and then suddenly a few weeks later “What file?”
Newsom refers to the deleted post on X, where Musk said last month that Trump was “in the Epstein archive” and that “that’s why they weren’t public.” Musk, a former close ally of Trump, has since published several more criticizing the administration’s posts because they did not publish any Epstein’s “customer list” or any arrests related to the Epstein case.

“When Elon launched this, I thought it was a big statement,” Newsom said.
The California governor added that Trump and Epstein knew each other and listed images and videos of the two.
U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi said earlier this year that Epstein’s “customer list” was on her desk Ministry of Justice The FBI recently claimed Epstein committed suicide, and there is no evidence that he kept such a list. Bondy also went back to her earlier comments, saying she was referring to Epstein case documents rather than “customer lists.”
Trump’s recent attempt to avoid the Epstein topic has left the issue no longer important. He also said he no longer wanted to continue to pressure the support of the “weak” in the Epstein case.
“Their new scam is something we will always call the Jeffrey Epstein scam, and my past supporters have fallen into the ‘bull–‘,’ hook, line and pendant,” Trump wrote on Wednesday’s Truth Social.
“I’ve had a greater success in 6 months than any president in our country’s history, all of whom want to talk about fake news and successful hungry people, this is a scam by Jeffrey Epstein,” he added. “Let these weak men keep going, make Democrats work, and don’t even consider talking about our incredibly unprecedented success, because I no longer want their support!”

Trump said at the White House Wednesday that Bundy could release “any credible” related to the Epstein case as he defended her work on the matter and criticized Republicans who are still pushing for the release of Epstein’s material.
“He’s dead. He’s gone,” Trump said of Epstein. “And, everything is Republicans, some Republicans are being deceived by Democrats, and they’re tracking the Democratic scripts, no different from Russia, Russia, Russia and all other scams.”
Newsom has published a series of social media posts in recent days about Trump and Republicans refusing to disclose information about the Epstein case.
“Why do you try so hard to block the ‘not exist’ list…?” Newsom said Tuesday in response to news that House Republicans blocked Democrats’ efforts to force the release of Epstein’s archives.
Golden State Democrats also wrote “Retweet” in response to a 2019 post by Conservative commentator Charlie Kirk Call for Trump During his first term, Epstein was asked to investigate sexual trafficking.
In another article, the governor wrote that Trump responded to the president’s recent clips that he did not understand why the Epstein case was interested in anyone.

“It’s boring,” Trump told reporters in the edit. “I think only the bad guys want to keep going like this.”
Newsom joked that he forgot the Epstein archives in response to Trump’s post, announcing Coca-Cola agreed to use real cane sugar.
“Oh, thank God! I’ve completely forgotten Epstein’s archives now!” Newsom said Wednesday.
The governor released a clip late Wednesday that included photos of Trump and Epstein, as well as lyrics to the nickel-titled song “Photogra” that reads “Look at this photo.”
Newsom wrote: “Nickelback said it best.”
